Home healthcare provider Equinoxe Lifecare has purchased Elizz, a division of SE Health. Equinoxe is headquartered on St. Catherine near Wood Ave. According to its June 10 press release announcing the acquisition, the company specializes in senior care, chronic disease management, post-operative care and comfort care. The acquisition follows the recent intro- duction of LifeCare Plus, which uses “dis- creet” sensors to continuously detect, pre- dict and prevent “unwanted” events. It works through acoustics, not a wearable technology.
